  1. SIM Cards and Voltage

We usually end up buying a SIM card whenever we go abroad. T-Mobile is the exclusive retailer of iPhones in Europe so any one of their shops should be able to do it. Usually you pay 20 Euros and get about that much in talk time. Word of warning, our experience has been that most SIM cards only work within the country of purchase so you may want to ask if there is a Europe-wide card or purchase cards in each country.
Converters usually do not convert voltage but many higher end electronics are now built to work on both systems – as long as there’s a 110-220 50-60 rating on the back of the machine, you won’t need a voltage converter.
