Protected: Arizona Trip April 29-May 3, 2010

To my friends and family in Arizona –

I’ll be staying primarily with friends and I will be visiting friends, my niece and my uncle at various times (that’s what the trip to Sedona is for on Monday).  I’d like to see as many of you as I can when I’m there, even if you are not going to the Phurfest activities, which is what prompted me to take my first trip to Arizona.  My dad grew up there and I have family scattered all over the state.  I’m renting a car and arriving Phoenix on April 29 at 530pm.  My departure from Phoenix is May 3 at 8pm.  Please make sure I have your mobile numbers and that you have mine (917-330-6105).  I check texts much more than voicemail.

To my friends in the NYC area —

Please make sure I have your current mobile numbers and other contact information.

I’m arriving at JFK on a red-eye American Airlines flight #18, which departs SFO at 11:25pm and arrives JFK at 7:59am Friday, May 14.  I will go directly to work at my New York office and hope to see some of you at Manatus for dinner that evening near Bleecker & Christopher Street.  I hope the weather will be nice enough to eat outside.  This also means that I will be there for Urban Bear Weekend!  Woo hoo!

That entire weekend, the following week and the following weekend I will remain in NYC, based primarily with Max Christopher, my former housemate, and then on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 25 (a day which I will not work), I will fly back to SFO on American Airlines #177, which departs JFK at 5:55pm and arrives at 10:10pm, so hopefully well in advance of the last BART train leaving the airport.

As always, you can reach me via text or voice at 917-330-6105.  During the work day you an reach me on my direct work number which also rings my blackberry (even when I’m working in NYC) at 415-875-5229.

Made Phoenix plans for Spring!

I’m traveling to Phurfest and hoping to see friends and family in Arizona in late April/early May.  It’s a state I’ve never stepped foot in, to my knowledge, but which my family has a long history in, apparently.  I’ve seen a lot of relatives going back generations move and return to Arizona, and I know my dad lived there for a time as a kid.  Ancestry.com has helped prove the links I have to the area, but I’m also looking forward to some pool parties and dry heat, which is one of the reasons I moved back to the West Coast.
